Job Overview:
- As a Technical Business Development Manager/IT Services, you will play a critical role in managing and delivering complex technical projects from initiation to completion. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with clients, and be responsible for creating project proposals, gathering requirements, and ensuring successful project execution.
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge in IT services and solutions is a MUST.
- Proven experience in technical business development or pre-sales, with a focus on IT services.
- Demonstrated ability to create detailed and effective project proposals, including
- experience with bidding processes on upwork, Guru and other job portals.
- Strong communication and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency in understanding and documenting technical requirements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales and technical teams.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Relevant certifications (such as PMP) are a plus but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Project Proposal Creation:
- Develop detailed project proposals, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budget estimates.
- Work closely with sales and technical teams to identify opportunities and craft compelling proposals.
- Ensure that proposals are tailored to client specifications and industry standards.
- Client Interaction:
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and regular engagement.
- Serve as the primary contact for clients during the pre-sales phase, addressing inquiries and clarifying project details.
- Understand client business objectives and align proposals to meet those needs.
- Requirement Gathering:
- Gather and document project requirements in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
- Prioritize requirements to ensure they align with client goals and technical capabilities.
- Facilitate discussions to clarify and refine project specifications.
- Bidding and Proposal Management:
- Participate in the bidding process by preparing and submitting bids in response to client requests.
- Monitor and manage the bid submission process, ensuring compliance with client and company standards.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Utilize your technical expertise to accurately scope projects and provide insights during proposal development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to inform proposal content and strategies.
